On Sunday 5th September 1999 I went to see Bernard Butler (who used to be in Suede) perform a secret gig at the GUILDHALL arts centre, Gloucester. The set list for the show was as follows:-

  • Change Of Heart
  • I'd Do It Again

  • Lets Go Away
  • Friends & Lovers

  • (Two Acoustic Numbers)

During the performance someone in the audience shouted for some Suede tracks but Bernard would not comply.

I thought the concert was great and that his guitar playing was excellent.

Before he came on stage there was an equally as good support band called LEAR.
